The vacuum degassing system removes dissolved air and dispersed bubbles from milk.Preheated milk is delivered to the degassing tank. The vacuum degree inside the tank is adjusted to a boiling point 7–8°C lower than the preheating temperature. Gas is released under low pressure and evaporates together with a certain amount of moisture in the milk.
To achieve the optimal degassing effect, milk flows into the tank in an umbrella-shaped film through a liquid distributor, which enlarges the evaporation area.The vacuum degassing system ensures the efficiency of subsequent processing and final product quality, and is suitable for the processing of milk, fruit juice and other materials.
The system consists of a degassing chamber, condenser, vacuum pump and control system. It provides thorough degassing with fast processing speed and high efficiency.
The system can operate in series with sterilizers.
